Batman: Arkham Asylum (PS3):
... having such a great love for the film "the dark knight" it seemed rather fitting that i was to receive Batman Arkham Asylum from an uncle this christmas. it must have seemed like a good idea but to anyone who has ever played a Batman game they will know that they are boring childish and all round easy. however i felt it my duty as a crazed batman fan to atleast give it a go. God thy names is A... Read the full review: you belong in Arkham if you dont own this game by callum_123 |

Batman: Arkham Asylum (PS3) ... playing this game I was deeply cynical about this particular franchise because whenever it had been transformed into a game, it seemed to lack any kind of sparkle and was instantly forgettable. This is the first batman game that only bucks this trend but is a great game in it s own right. So in terms of the plot, we continue with the perpetual battle between Joker and Batman, a battle which is never resolved because Batman can t bring himself to kill Joker. This time Batman has captured Joker and sent him to the asylum for the criminally insane. However as he watches Joker being escorted down the halls he witnesses Joker attacking the guard and fleeing. This the... Read the full review: It's batman's finest gaming hour by davey_26 |

Batman: Arkham Asylum (PS3) ... Arkham Asylum is a superb game that does justice to the great name of the Caped Crusader, combining the dark tone set by Christopher Nolan s excellent Batman films with the comic, over the top tone of the animated series in particular, aided by the appearance of Star Wars star Mark Hamill in this game (who also played The Joker in TAS). The storyline is quite the hoot indeed; Batman is tricked into visiting Arkham Asylum, which just happens to be located on an isolated island, making escape very difficult. Trapped inside the asylum by The Joker, you have to battle your way through, taking on thuggish inmates and more colourful characters such as Killer Croc, Harl... Batman: Arkham Asylum (PS3) ... Arkham Asylum. The Plot Arkham Asylum is a mental institution situated in Gotham City. It featured widely in the Batman comics, animated series etc. The asylum is famous as many of Batman s criminally insane enemies end up there. This game features the Arkham Asylum island and all of the buildings on it, most of which you can access. The game starts with Batman brining in the recently captured Joker. You, as Batman, follow the Joker and the Arkham staff as the Joker is admitted into the Asylum. Naturally he gets free (including one well aimed kick that kills a guard outright) and all hell breaks loose. You then have to run around the island, solving ri...
