Dynasty Warriors 6 (PS3):
... am quite the fan of the Dynasty Warriors games; no, I haven t bought every single one of them but I ve played enough of them to know that they re consistently fun action games with impressive visuals, and an agreeably arcade-like style. While this is by no means a bad game, it seems quite retrograde for what is the first next-gen entry of the series. Visually, the differences are noticeable, but frankly more could... It s loosely based on Romance of the Three Kingdoms epic work and many if not all of the battles in the game have some steeping in the real history. So far you would think this game takes itself seriously right? Well luckily for the player, it doesn t. ... Read the full review: Unite the Land with the Strength of a Warrior by Souther |

Bladestorm - The Hundred Years War (PS3) ... I first started this game I didn t expect to be able to do anything right, and have to button bash my way into the controls until I got used to them (or I could have read the manual) but it was surpisingly easy to get used to. Within minutes I was charging the flanks of unknowing swordsmen, causing minimun damage but having a great deal of fun doing it. This game is purely about gaining skills and stats to become the best mercenary possible, and the most famous. This doesn t mean your constantly working out the ratio of speed of hits to damage caused or anything time consuming like that, it s more based around how you rate in leadership and command of other units by ...
