Virtua Tennis 2009 (PS3) ... really enjoyed this year s Virtua Tennis. I thought that it was 5 out of 5. Perfect! I really like how detailed the tennis players are. Like Federer, Nadal and Williams. (My favourite players). I been buying every year s edition of Virtua Tennis, and I thought this one was the best. The graphics and game play are top class. Fantastic. The stumble, sliding motions are very realistic. Also the different shots look and work so authentically. Especially in World Tour Mode, where the camera is over the shoulder and you can really see the spin and the effects of the different shots. Virtua Tennis 2009 (PS3) ... ve always preferred the more Arcade-ish Virtua Tennis to the more tennis sim game Top Spin, so when Virtua Tennis 2009 was released I bought it on the release date. - Gameplay - The gameplay is virtually identical to the original Virtua Tennis, with the main change being instead if diving for a shot just out of reach - you now stumble at it. There is no flat shot, which leaves with only slice, top spin or lob - which is a bit disappointing. It s very easy to get the hang of the game, as all you have to do is either use the directional buttons or the analogue stick to get you to the ball then press one of the action buttons to hit it. Virtua Tennis 2009 (PS3) ... abolustely love Tennis, and it comes dangerously close to overtoppling Football as my favourite sport. So when it comes to games my favourite sport games are always football as the gameplay is unmatched, however over the years I have had a few experiences with tennis game and i was a fan of the old Roland Garros game and its unique hitting but accurate system. That was back in around 2002, so I thought nearly 8 years on, that a tennis game would have advanced so so much, however unfortunately this is not the case.
