Tom Clancy's End War (PS3):
... had heard good things of this game, and was a fan of the voice control of SOCOM in PS2 days, so I got hold of a copy and a headset. Set in World War III you are cast as the commander of troops in the battlefield, and you must encounter different scenarios to progress with the storyline. The storyline seemed to be just a way to tie together different versions of the same scenario. You start in one area and must pr... Read the full review: Too difficult for me by pudder |

Tom Clancy's End War (PS3) ... complete diversion from the usual Tom Clancy games, End War is the first war game to feature voice control. Which is great if you can afford the headset. So I tried playing it with my controller at first, and got utterly annihlated. Didn t even stand a chance. Despite practice, I still am rubbish at this game, even upon purchasing a microphone, and I just wonder whether this game is too hard for those people that don t sit around playing Warhammer. I have no concept of war tactics and so I have really struggles with this game. Also, the game is set in World War III between three countries, yet no matter which country you choose the game seems to play pretty much the s... Tom Clancy's End War (PS3) ... borrowed this game from a friend while he went on holiday. I have to say it is great but not really my type of game. The game is still good and I love the voice control. The game has lots of other great features but I found it got repetitive and boring after awhile. The graphics are very good and look impressive on a HDTV. The game has no slowdown and runs very smoothly. The game s controls are quite hard and I had to constantly refer to the manual to play the game. It is 2020 and resources are running out, every nation must fight for themselves. The tensions between Russia, Europe and the USA are at a breaking point, finally, they smash and you will fight for y... Read the full review: Good but hard. by LethalUK |

Civilization: Revolution (PS3) ... brought this game after loving the PC games and after finding nothing like them on the Playstation 3. The game is very fun and is a scaled down and easier version of the PC games. However, it limits your turns before the game runs out. This ruins it and spoils the fun. The graphics are very good and amongst the best I have seen on the Playstation 3. The soundtrack is very good but the framerate is bad and the game crashes at certain points. The gameplay is really fun allowing you to build cities and make different decisions that can change the game. The controls are very hard to get the hang of but the game has been downscaled and isn t as good as the PC games. ... Read the full review: Good until disaster strikes. by LethalUK |
