Midnight_Walker Watchmen: The End is Nigh - Parts 1 and 2 (PS3): ... Watchmen: The End is Nigh is a game of two halves. Quite literally. But the two halves are more or less indistinguishable from one another. The game is akin to Streets of Rage and Golden Axe, but in a 3D world. It s a particularly violent action/beat em up game which you can play through in co-op with a friend, which is great, and something of a rarity these days. You take the role of either Rorschach or Nite Ow...

badvok Lego Batman: The Videogame (PS3)
... is my eight year old sons favourite game at the moment. But despite people thinking it s a game for kids, I find it quite good as well. The game doesn t follow the plot from any of the films but takes the characters and locations more from the comic books. It has the usual villains like the joker and two face, but it also has some of the more unusual ones like manbat and clayface. When you first start the game you can only use Batman and Robin, but you unlock the others gradually as you progress through the game. You can even do the game with Batman and the Joker working together. It s a great 2 player game, especially for a bit of father and son time. One of ...

... ve really enjoyed the Lego series of games these last few years. Beginning with Lego Star Wars, a tie in released with Star Wars Episode III, the series has seen three Star Wars titles, an Indiana Jones version and now there s Lego Batman. I had avoided the series for as long as possible, games that spawn from another intellectual property s merchandising effort tend to be the poorest examples of video games. Combined with the general poor quality of children s games these days, it didn t seem like much of a formula for success. Fortunately, the Lego Star Wars games proved me wrong and I was anxiously looking forward to this one. Lego Batman is off to something of a d...

... a lego fan I was over the moon with the Lego Star Wars franchise. Star Wars in a Lego stylee - what s not to like? So when I heard about Lego Batman it was a no-brainer of a purchase for me. I was looking forward to seeing the Caped Crusader, Robin and their various enemies rendered in cutesy Lego! Now that I ve played the game, I have mixed opinions. Yes, it absolutely does look fabulous as you would expect. The characters are beautufully drawn and animated and the game is played out with the same wit and love that Star Wars was granted. But my problem is that maybe it s TOO similar. So, if you ve played Lego StarWars, you ve already played Lego Batman. It s the same...
