Advantages: Controls and views

Disadvantages: Occasional slowdown and lack of extra content

First of all this game had alot of hype and expectation surrounding it and I feel that it does live up to it.

The gameplay is very fluid and the movement and combat systems are successfully combined to the symbol buttons making the experience easily controllable. The experience is fantastic, the storyline engaging both inside and outside the animus (you'll have to play it to understand) and the view amazing. the ability to climb any structure in the game, whilst being a challenge in itself, gives the reward of a full overview of the city you are in. I did not play this game on an HDTV, but it impressed me still.

One flaw in the game would have to be the very occasional freezing and occasional slowdown. This did not effect my enjoyment of the game and the frequent auto-saving means it causes a minor inconvenience.

The game is brilliant from the start of the story to the end of the story, but to get more from the game you must begin a new game as apart from flag collecting the game offers little else. The many ways of assassinating your targets, however, makes a replay worthwhile.

Overall, this is a very good game worthy of its next gen status.

Summary: Great game once through, but not much replay value
