Disadvantages: repetitve

First time I heard about Assassin's Creed it was because of its more technical achievements. The new graphics, which I thought were frighteningly real, and the new design and game structure. When I got the game I became less enthralled with the technical detail and became thoroughly interested in the story behind the game. The Third Crusade is tearing the Holy Land apart so a group of assassin's must suppress both sides of the conflict. I thought this was a fantastically original and intriguing idea which on the whole would make the game far better and far more engaging. However, I think the makers over did the influence of the story. There were points in the game when I would have to sit and watch dialogue between to game characters, I was unable to skip it and it was not short dialogue. Negatives aside, the actual gameplay was fantastic and there is a lot of freedom within the game as well which is useful because the tasks can be rather repetitive.

Summary: Completely different game to anything I've ever played so worth playing for yourself
