Blitz: The League II can be said to be an arcade football or rugby alternative to Electronic Arts' Madden NFL franchisee. The game is unique in its own way. It presents players with the option of curing injuries using steroid injections. It also introduces many new teams like Los Angeles Riot, the Vancouver Beavers, the Houston Riders, the Milwaukee Hounds etc. Several teams in the original game have been renamed. The Orlando Hammerheads have been renamed to Miami Hammerheads and the Dallas Aztecs have been renamed as Mexico City Aztecs.
Apart from all of these new additions some of the disadvantages of Blitz II are its graphics and gameplay animations. The animations are poorly done and they appear to be rigid. The AI is also very horrible and constantly makes bad decisions. It reduces the overall feel of the game. The game does not offer many features. After completing the campaign mode you can play in the online mode. But I found that boring after some time. On the plus side, it has good solid framerate. The soundtrack is OK. I would recommend this game to only those people who have a lot of spare time.
