Advantages: Brillient new free-roaming approach to the world of burnout

Disadvantages: Not multiplayer unless you have online play

Brill PS3 game, and a real contender for best PS3 racer (well until Gran Turismo comes along). Taking a daring step from the tried and tested burnout formula, criteon have decided to make this game completly free roaming, which i have to say has worked really well. There is allso a huge emphasis in online play here, which is just aswel, as if you are without internet, you will only be able to play single player. The game works by having an event (like a race or roadrage etc) at each road junction. You then need so many wins to complete each licence, and advance through the game. This game also sees the return of the 'crash junction' event, except this time the 'showtime' can be very simply activated at anytime, anywhere in the game. If your looking for a great PS3 racer, with brillient graphics, then look no further, as i said, the only downside i can see with this game, is that it is single player unless you take it online.

Summary: Great PS3 racer, and easily the best online racer around
