Advantages: Tons of fun, the graphics and the sound are good.

Disadvantages: The only one I can think of is the need to check your map during some races.

Burnout Paradise was released in 2009 and just let me start off by saying that it is really awesome.
If you have played the earlier Burnout games, then you can first notice, that the action takes place in a city, no more scrolling through the menus to find races to do.

So the game's point is to race cars, and bikes. There are not many bikes in game though, if I remember correctly then there are four of them. Anyways, but that is not the point of this game, the game is still based on racing cars in the city, with traffic. And there are more cars than ever before. It really is exciting.

There are different race modes, for example takeout, where you have to crash as many opponents as possible with the given time, then there obviously is the normal race through the city. The annoying part about is that you constantly have to scroll through the map to find the best way to your destination. It kind of pauses the gameplay and is slightly annoying.
And then there are your usual other race modes for example stunt mode.

The graphics of the game are really top notch, nothing bad to say there. On the downside the pc version of the game needs quite a machine to run it smoothly.

I really like the artwork of the game, the sense of speed and how stylish the takedowns/crashes are. It goes in to slow motion which makes them more enjoyable. It actually sometimes gives u the urge to crash just to see it in slow motion.

The music of the game is well nice. I do not actually like the theme song of the game (Guns and Roses). And that is because it starts every time you start the game, the same song all over again. The other song in the game are awesome though, there are tons, there actually are lots of really famous classical pieces aswell.

To conclude this review, then I must say that this is my favorite racing game at the moment,the graphics are beautiful, it gives you this going really fast speed, and the crashes are awesome. The normal race mode is slightly annoying, because you have to look at your map to get to your destination as quickly as possible. It probably is the best racing game in the market today.
