I bought the original Buzz game with buzzers a few years ago for my old PS2 and loved it despite being constantly beaten on it by the wife, so when this version came out I saw it as a must have game.

The wireless buzzers are a big improvement over the old wired version as you don't have to spend time untangling them before you can start playing and they sync up faultlessly to the console so they are a very worthwile upgrade.

As for the game it brings back some of the old favourite rounds along with a few new twists on the standard quiz game formula. Let's face it, your not going to buy this game for it's graphics but they serve the purpose well but it would have been nice to have a few more new characters to play as. The questions are very varied and cover a huge range of musical genres so there is something there for everyone and being that the person in last place gets to choose the category it proves effective in levelling ut the playing field to make a fairer, closer game.

Get a few friends round for drinks and they game really comes into it's own. Loads of arguments over who is the best, luckiest, most devious etc but it is always in good humour. Alternatively and this is where it really excels for me, there is the online game where you can take on music lovers from around the world.
