Activision you gorgeous bugger! Thanks for this amazing game! I thought Back Ops 1 was a game changer then this just took the biscuit! From the immersive gameplay whilst playing through campaign mode to the multi diversity of the multiplayer mode all the way through to the fun filled action packed zombie mode. All three modes are action packed and fun but my two favourites are multiplayer and zombies. Black Ops 2 also offers added content such as purchasing new map packs in ''bundles'' where you also gain a new zombie map and weapons (2 new that I know of).
The campaign starts with a cutscene where you are with the CIA. Each mission you undertake reveals more of the storyline. The missions do get harder as you go but you also get access to things you cant in multiplayer. Such as a minigun, bear traps and many more. Follow the action and you will be surprised just how long the campaign takes.
The options here are pretty much endless, from being able to create or edit existing emblems, checking your player record, achieving new player tags by completing objectives such as kill 1,000 people, all the way to the league matches and normal/hardcore matches available. It is so diverse and immersive it will keep you busy for hours! I know it kept me busy for months! Now I mainly play zombies..
The match types available are:
#CTF (capture the flag)
#Free For All
#Search & Destroy
All match types are also available in Hardcore mode except for free for all. Hardcore mode is basically the same as normal but you get limited health and no regen. Its for the hardcore yo!
Zombies is amazing. From the storyline you can follow (start at the bus station) to the awesome solo or multiplayer maps. You can brave it alone in solo where some perks aren't available like they would be in multiplayer, but it is quite fun. Multiplayer mode allows you to play in teams of 4 where you all face the zombie hordes coming to eat your brains. Buy weapons off the walls or use your points to get them from the mystery box and for god sakes pack a punch them! For those that don't know what that just meant I will explain. A pack a punched gun is a supped up version of the gun you had. You achieve this by spending 5,000 points to exchange your weapon for the supped up version. Makes staying alive a choice not a necessity.
I love this game, if I could I would probably play it for years to come, but we all know that's not going to happen (I'm married). Its an exceptional game with brilliant features and amazing gameplay. Recommended to anyone that hasn't already played it (if there is such a person who hasn't).
Call of Duty Black Op 2 is one of the best games I've played. I have to admit I am a big fan of the C.O.D. games and found this game to be a little more unique in a way. The game is sort of set in the future with some futuristic weapons and plots however, the story is fantastic.
First of all, the campaign mode is good and there is plenty to the plot with twist, turns and exciting game play to boot. The Rookie setting is the best level for gamer's for those just starting with the Black Ops series but the difficulty level can increase to Regular, Veteran and Hardened. As the difficult increases, so do the enemies abilities but the game is challenging.
The story follows soldiers fighting the enemy across a variety of locations. There are plenty of enemies to tangle with and plenty of weapons to pick up along the way too. However, the story does sort of relate to the first Black Ops game, so I hope gamer's have played that though it might not be necessary but it could be useful to follow the game during the cut scenes.
However, a favourite part of the gaming experience has to be the Zombie mode. Now, this isn't a part of the story mode campaign but it can be played even before the game is completed. The zombies I think, are much harder to destroy than on the first Black Ops zombie mode.
The Black Ops II game does offer a new gaming experience however and does in a way pave the way for more advanced type games which is always a pleasant thing.
Call Of Duty Black Ops II, the game itself is a first person shooter and when first starting up the game on your PS3 you have 3 options to choose from which are Zombies,Campaign and Online multiplayer. The Campaign gameplay is exciting and demanding and has a lot of elements from the previous Call Of Duty Black Ops you can select different levels on the campaign story to make it harder for you to play e.g rookie or veteran. most of the storyline missions are taking out enemy targets and pushing through forests or enemy terretory, but also tactical strategy missions such as using valkyrie rockets or setting mortar points to destroy enemy forces. the second option is Zombies, this being one of my favourite things about the COD Black Ops series as you can kill zombies Solo or multiplayer with your friends, the zombie mode is basically set out by choosing from various maps that are offered and every map has a special feature to them that makes the map demanding for the players, there are different perk-a-cola''s which basically give you certain perks to defeat the zombies in a different way and lots of guns to buy off the wall to kill the targets, as mentioned zombies if probably the best game mode. The third option you can play is the online co-op multiplayer where you can play with your friends or random people online to kill other people online from all over the world the features online are choosing a map just like on zombies and killing players on different game modes such as search and destroy or capture the flag. you rank up online and every level unlocks different guns and perks to be used online against enemy players, by rankin up you can prestige which means you climb up the ranks and people will gainr espect for you with different prestige titles in all there are 10 prestiges you can purchase DLC map packs for the online mode and zombies which unlocks different maps and different guns for the game this means you have to spend money on the maps but also if you want to play the maps with your friends they have to buy them aswell as they can only be played with people who have bought these DLC map packs. the game itself is amazing and i would recommend it to anyone it is worth paying for as you can play with others but also by yourself.
Very addictive fun game.
Spent so many hours playing this game.
Havnt yet done the missions on story mode but have played hours of online mutiplayer with my friends and we have great fun! The controls are great the maps are brilliant the weapons are good.
We have had a few issues with connectivity though. Reguarly get kicked out of online games but on the whole very good.
There are also regular updates and dlc's (Downloadable content) available with extra missions maps etc.
I would recommend this game for anyone who likes online multi player but i would advise that you make sure you have a strong internet connection as it needs it to run smoothly.
Lots of different online game modes available from free for all to capture the flag. Also very customizable weapon clases and clan tags and call signs.
Also has zombies mode which is another way to play multiplayer which is different. No end of things to do! Difficult to get bored
As a major fan of Black Ops 1 I was thinking how could 2 match it but somehow they have. The new maps are brilliant and soi imaginative. I love the new future weapons within the games as well. I have never been a fan of the zombie games however Black Ops 2 zombies have grabbed me. Being able to go from town to town on the bus is a brilliant adaptation. As a fan of all the COD collection I think the Black Ops to is joint top with Black Ops 1. As for new DLCs available within the game being able to become a zombie is a brilliant idea and I cannot wait to try this out. I believe overall with this new Black Ops 2 game the creators have thought out of the box and come up with something brilliant. My only criticism is that some of the game play can lag if you are on a match with a host with bad internet.
