Advantages: Stunning to look at, and enthralling to play.

Disadvantages: The campaign is a little short.

So after months and months of hype about this title, it has finally arrived. Call of Duty, Modern Warfare 2 has been rightly tagged as the most anticipated game of the year so it really did have a lot to live up to.

You'll be delighted to know, that COD MW2 lives up to the hype and does not disappoint, from the minute you load it up and first take hold of your rifle you'll be hooked.

The graphics, as others have mentioned, are stunning. Bright and vivid colours light up your screen as you run around the various enviroments,with eye popping attention to detail (when a dustbin gets caught in an explosion, the street will be covered with litter, cars and other vehicles that get caught in the crossfire will explode after it slowly starts to crumble).

Once you have completed your very basic training, you are thrown into the action. I've only being playing the game for approx 4-5 hours and already I have been to Rio De Janiro, taken a snow mobile down snowy slopes, had a shoot out with a helicopter outside 'Burger Town' and experienced the now infamous airport level (which is a tad brutal, but it is just a game, so lets not get too hung about it!!).

The game never gets boring (thus far), and the action comes thick and fast, leaving you wanting more as soon as you complete a section.

So overall, COD MW2 does exactly what it has been promising to do, it delivers truly next generation gaming experience which will delight fans of the FPS genre and I would even say that those who don't enjoy FPS's as much will still love this title.

If the saying 'things can only get better' is true, then we're in for a real treat when COD MW3 is released!!!
