I had high hopes for this game but I was quite disappointed. The game revolves around you leading your team through various landscapes and you are able to switch between each team member to utilise their abilities but this was quite hard to do smoothly and by the time you had found the character you wanted to switch to you often ended up dead!
When you and your team are in battle you have to attend to each team member that is injured. Rather than fighting yourself you spend most of your time resurecting the wounded which gets quite annoying after a while! I ended up keeping them back and letting myself go upfront in battles so at least I could get in on some of the action as I was getting bored!
The graphics and the story are great on this game but it could have been so much better and more payable.
Jericho is a first person horror shoot em up from Codemasters, it is based on an elite team of warrior magicians, who wage "secret wars" on battlefields long from the view of humanity. Only Jericho stands between utter chaos, total evil and the annihilation of the human species. Each member has a weapon and a unique magic attack, throughout the game you can control all 7 members of the team.
Clive Barker ceases to scare in his latest game, apart from predictable points at times, the game is still a game i would rather not play at 3am in the morning in an empty house. The graphics are good and so are the models, but some effects look a bit jaggered at times.
Although the game sounds good, there are quite a few problems with it, you have to care for the rest of your team whilst playing, so you spend half the time resurrecting them and half the time shooting enemies, im pretty sure i know what i would rather be doing. The squad commands are a very poor feature that could of been potentially great, they rarely do anything you tell them to well and if they do they fire inaccuratly anyway, so most of the time its best to let them sit back and let you fight, it saves you baby sitting them.
