Dark Sector (PS3)

Dark Sector is a third person shooter where you play as the main character, Hayden Tenno, and elite black ops agent. Gameplay: Dark Sectors plays out like most other third person shooters out nowadays such as Gears of War. Dark Sectors features a cover system to which is welcomed to the game but can sometimes be clunky. A good feature of Dark Sectors gameplay would be the glaive. This is the main weapon you will use throughout the game, and i have to say it is very entertaining to use. Dark sector is a very good game with a great story, some funny moments and at times very chilling. Dark sector I must warn thought is very gory with heads and limbs flying every were. lets talk about the main gimmick: the glaive. The glaive is a very powerful weapon and it's the main thing you will use, being a sort of 4 pointed boomerang it never runs out of ammo or gets lost and it cant be dropped for another weapon so then you wish you could go back a few levels and pick it back up. You can throw it at enemies slicing them up like a loaf of bread or you can sneak up behind them and slit there throats. I'd like to begin my review on Dark Sector with first of all saying, If you want a game with a good solid story, and a good ending, this is NOT the game for you, if you want a game thats pure action and mindless decapitating room after room, this however IS the game for you. The ending lasts about 20 seconds and explains nothing. the last boss can be hard for some but can be killed in 3 minutes with good accuracy.
