Advantages: Great story, RPG aspect well done, controls are good, graphics are amazing.

Disadvantages: Can be quite hard, 3rd person view isn't very well done.

If you are into post-apocalyptic RPGs, Fallout 3 is the top of its class.

Your story begins as a baby, your mother dies at your birth and you are living with your dad in Vault 101, an underground community, the Vault is your protection from the Wastelands outside which are filled with mutated creatures and the like.

You grow up, and eventually your dad goes missing somehow, the leader of the Vault (The Overseer) goes mad and orders the guards to search for you, eventually you escape the Vault to look for your Dad, this is where the real action begins.

You search around the wasteland for new towns and caves for information on your father, and you must try to use that information to find him. All along the way, there are Raiders, Super Mutants, Giant Scorpions, Giant Rats, and much much more spread out across the wasteland, of course, there are friendly people too, (The Brotherhood of Steel is one)

Now, enough about the story,
The graphics on this game are superb, the goriness and the decapitations are amazing, and everything is full of colour. There are also two perspectives in this game, 1st person and 3rd person, 1st person is the main one so I use that, 3rd person is less concentrated on and doesn't look near as good.

The weapons are also another great feature about this game, all the weapons have a "homemade" style about them, from Laser pistols to Mini Nukes, you won't be disappointed by them.

The controls are also very good while not being confusing like some games on the market right now, (Resident Evil 5), they dont have wierd combination's either which is a good aspect.

So, I would give this game a 10/10, the RPG aspect is well done, the AI are impressive, and your dog, which you find, isn't too stupid either but he can sometimes get in your way when you are fighting :D
