As a fan of the FIFA series since the 07 edition I was looking forward to this games release well in advance, pre-ordering months before it was hitting the shelves. Since 2008, i've stuck with the FIFA series rather than the Pro Evolution Soccer series, despite the few years before having fifa 2008 i played PES. From Fifa 07 to Fifa 08, the game improved vastly but since then it has kept improving and Fifa 10 is probably the best football game of all time in my opinion. The grahpics are great, especially if you use a HDTV with the HDMI cable. It looks very realistic and the players are a perfect match for themselves in real life. Every year EA delivers a new Fifa game with updated rosters and usually minute gameplay changes. There is always the question over whether the update is worth purchasing year after year. This years iteration boasts dribbling improvements and improved physics, but does it deliver a fresh experience. Gameplay is the same old Fifa, nothing wrong with that and they have certainly tightened up a few things with very few annoying glitches that have been a problem in recent titles. Having come out on top in the yearly battle between Fifa and Pro Evolution Soccer I wondered what they could to improve the game. I had played Fifa from the 03 version and noticed a massive improvement from 07 onwards. The game seriously impressed me this year Upon playing for the first time, the biggest thing I noticed was how fluid and smooth the gameplay is now that 360 degree motion is in place. Players are now not restricted to the usual plains and so as a result realism is much higher. Although it takes a while to get used too, the gameplay really does improve as a result. If I play games it either has to be shooting people, playing football or some kind of strategy game which could range from wars to managing my local football team.
