Builds on good old features but could do with some newer features (Gran Turismo 5 Prologue (PS3))

Advantages: Graphics, avalability of cars and modifactions

Disadvantages: Only 30 races and credits can take forever to earn

I got Gran Turismo Prologue not long ago after many friends suggested it to me. At first I was just blown away by how good the graphics were, everything looked so real. The game has a wide range of cars to buy from all the well known manufacturers, with the ultimate purchase being the F1 car. Anyone who manages to get this will not be disappointed, but getting the two million credits needed to buy it takes repeated re-runs of the best paying circuits, which can take forever. The number of races and challenges avaliable also makes the game play long, and for the amount you pay for a PS3 game you should be getting hours of gaming from it.

The bad points of the game are the races you have to complete with a specific car, which can be annoying and troublesome to win. And if you truly want to 100% complete the game, then earning all those credits for the F1 car will take you ages.

Summary: A great game that will bring lots of attention to the new release
