Guitar Hero 3 is a fantastic game that literally allows you to become a rockstar in your own living room. The game comes supplied with a very cool Les Paul style guitar which helps make you look the part! The game is about you as a rockstar progressing to become an ultimate rockstar. It is very clever in the way that you can combine a career mode with the playign music side of the game.

When this came out I thought that it looked to be a great deal of fun and I had many good things about it. There were however two things that put me off buying this game and the first thing was the price. At £70 I found it quite hard to pay out because it is just so much money for a PS3 game. The other concern I had was that because I am a guitar player anyway I thought it would be too easy and not be very much fun overall.

I managed to get this game for just £40 in a sale at HMV, so it just goes to show it is worth shopping around. I absolutely love this game and I really to think it offers great entertainment for all. I love the soundtrack which are called 'Rockin tracks' and include hits such as 'Welcome to the Jungle' and 'Paranoid'. It really is great fun and with the different difficulty settings that are available you are bound to find a level that suits you. There are even downloadable extra songs that are available from the PS3 store which can expand your music colelction further and give you more hits to rock too!

I love the way in which you can progress you career in the game and unlock new guitars and songs etc. It really does provide an incentive to keep on playing the game. The game does make you feel like a rockstar and with the whammy bar feature you really do get into the music! There is even an online mode which was absolutely brilliant and you can even have a rock battle with some oof your friends over the internet or other people from around the world. I really do think that this game brings a whole new angle to PS3 gaming and I would really recommend it. I hope this was useful and thank you for reading!
