Advantages: Open world, great graphics and city design, many hours, replay value, no loading times

Disadvantages: Minor glitches

InFamous puts you in the very powerful shoes of Cole McGrath shortly after an explosion in Empire City which has left thousands dead but given him the power to control electricity. The entire area has been quarantined off leaving you within the three islands of the city. There is a deeper plot involving an FBI agent and attempting to escape but I won't spoil that as it unfolds very nicely.

This is one of the few games that I've seen actually benefit from an open world environment in which you choose the order you complete missions. It allows you to free roam around the brilliantly designed city and continue the plot when you see fit. There seems to be a trend for developers to incorporate this into their game but it's not always as effective as InFamous. Far Cry 2 is a prime example.

The main theme of the game is Good Vs Evil. You can decide whether to act heroically and help the people of Empire City or act selfishly in Karma Moments. I have found Evil far more enjoyable. The career consists of 40 missions as well as side missions and free roaming in which it is similar to Assassin's Creed; you can climb almost anything allowing great flexibility in movement and endless entertainment in the city. This makes it a fairly long game, in addition to having great replay value as you can go through it again as Good or Evil.
