Moto GP 08 work your way to being the next valentino rossi! (MotoGp 08 (PS3))

Advantages: great racing phyics and challenging career mode

Disadvantages: still not as good as moto GP 06 but oh well!

after playing superbike08 on my xbox 360 i decided it would be a good idea to get a decent motorbike racer for my ps3. i decided to go for motogp 08 because i already had superbike on the xbox. this is probably the best choice i have ever made! moto gp obviously has different riders. most famous would be valentino rossi. but dont expect to head straight into the career and race him. you have a long way to go first!

there isnt much to the game you can choose a quickrace which everyone knows about and you can ride as whoever you want in whatever track. but the career is very different. you start off in a team of your choice in the 125 catergory and as you total up points from winning races you can get a ride with a better 125 team. this is a great feature as you cant go straight in at the top you have to work your way up. with around 35 riders in a race you can really struggle if you fall at the first corner to make the ground back up again.

moto gp has really gone to the next level in this game. you can choose between the difficulty settings of each feature so you can set AI difficulty at easy but have your driving physics as realistic so you might be able to race past 7 people on a corner but touch the paint and youll soon be heading to A&E!

the graphics are good on this game and i would give it a solid 7/10. definately not a must buy but for any1 interested in motogp its still a good buy. to be totally honest though i still prefer motogp 06 where you can create a totally custom team and choose your own bike colours and leathers!

Summary: 7/10 a solid game that could be worth a place on your shelf
