Im afraid this is more of a warning rather than a review, Naughty bear is now the worst game I have ever played and whilst it pains me to say it I feel it's my duty to make sure you don't waste any of your valuable time, that could be better spent watching paint dry instead.

Naughty bear was released was released at the end of June and is an action game , in which you control a Naughty bear on a paradise island. He decides that the best thing to do about no one liking him is to kill everone in numerous ways, because surely that will change their mind.

The story (If it can be called that) is that unsurprisingly Naught hasn't been invited to a birthday party, he even has a present , but on the way there anyway he is mocked by 2 bears causing Naughty to get stroppy and chuck his present in the fire, picking up a bit and setting off for revenge against the island...
This is a terrible story, both in the narrative and morality sense. Apart from the opening sequence their is not much going on apart from showing the reason why this bear is killing everyone.

The narrative is spoken through a man who acts like a child's tv presenter, no only is he annoying as hell but he doesn't add anything except an attempt at dark humour due to the situation.

On to the gameplay and it involves travelling around the island killing a certain amount of bears, to unlock a bridge which opens a new area of bears, so on and so forth till the credits roll.
As you wander round the island the means of killing are mainly clubbing and shooting, but these handle incredibly bad due to the lack of "lock on" targeting. This means that hitting a target is luck, if you manage to hit a bear it will become maimed and run away, stopping after a few seconds to catch its breath or being distracted by the light of the fire and forgetting why it was running.
Every type of weapon has an "Ultra kill" a little like VATS for fallout, but the animations can be counted on your hand , so soon become tiresome and repetitive.
Cops do appear later on in the game , but cleary it doesn't take much to work for paradise island police department, if you stand right in front of their gun they still wont hit you.

The camera is your other enemy , apparently it's very afraid of what Naughty bear is doing and so will constantly decide to look at a wall or a flower to forget about the carnage.

Considering it is being played on the PS3 , it suffers horrendous frame rate drops. Beleive me , this game is no Crysis it's got pretty shocking graphics all told with everything looking more PS1, you can walk through what should be solid objects and even moving is difficult as the game sometimes decides it wants you to go somewhere else.

The sound is repetitive with the same sound bite being used over and over again with the soundtrack being non existant.

Would you beleive that this game has a online multiplayer, if you manage to get some other players to join you can run around shooting each other until the points hit a total. It should be noted that it manages to work worse than the offline game.

The game is Available for £27 on Amazon but this is less than bargain bin standard and what makes it worse is that this game is for 12 year old's ? I defend games to the death, Gta and Manhunt have cause me to be in many arguments but this is undefendable.

It has a couple of hours of gameplay but its complete rubbish from the first minute.

Overall, very unimpressed.

Summary: Dont buy it , ok
