NBA 2K9 (PS3)

The last NBA 2K game I bought was 2K6 so it was time for an upgrade. The first and biggest improvement I noticed were the graphics. The shorts and jersey actually move with the player and don't look like they are made of wood anymore. The close ups of the players' faces are very detailed and look much more accurate to the real players, than before. When you're playing a game, it is getting close to looking like a real game on TV. Also, one area that is very noticeable, unlike most sports games, is the crowd. They're very varied with numerous animations, no longer looking generic and the same. Basketball games have come along way from the late 90's/00's. This game has everything that you actually do if you where an actually NBA player, which I wish I was. The graphics almost look like your watching the game at your home late at night, (if u live in the U.K). And its not just press a button and it shoots. There's a skill now you actually have to take it past a player or make some smooth passes and get your self into some space and shoot. But you have to be precise with pulling back the analogue stick and realising the ball at the right point of a second.
