Great, realistic gameplay, the sense of speed is fantastic and when you crash the loss of colour, heavy breathing and blurred vision is a really great touch. The cars are fantastically detailed, damage taken is quite realistic and the controls are easy to use and intuitive. Where it gets let down is in the number of cars, the modifications to the cars and more importantly the variety of gameplay - which at times can become pretty tedious.

With only fifty or so cars, many of them quite similar in their handling and driving it gets a dull when you want something a little different. The upgrading system, whilst quite fun is pretty samey and you don't get alot of choice with the parts you put on - just part packages, pre-fabricated body kits etc. Whilst the decals and colour choices are varying, you can't change the colour of things like the wheels which just seems like a bit of an oversight, along with the lack of any real customisation to the last tier of cars.

The menus aren't the clearest either, with a strange noise soundtrack behind them they aren't the most easily navigated. Not to mention the lack of a real variety of tracks and course types, driving the same circuit five or six times through an initial play of a tier isn't enjoyable either - not to mention drifting which with some cars is just impossible.
