Advantages: Not too bad at first

Disadvantages: Graphics, framerate, plot, acting, gets very boring, too easy

The plot behind Need For Speed Undercover is a little weak consisting of an underground crime group who you're attempting to take down from within. I don't know why they decided to introduce real acting because it's terrible with every cliché you can possibly think of. You have to gain reputation by winning races and starting from the bottom much like all of the NFS series.

There's nothing very new in Undercover; there's the same Sprints, Checkpoints and pink slips. As well as this, the races are not challenging at all. It's an extremely easy game to beat, especially compared to Midnight Club Los Angeles where the opponents actually want to win. Despite this, it is enjoyable for the first couple of hours into the career mode but soon gets tedious.

The graphics are very mediocre. If you compare it to GT5P or even GRID which came out earlier than you can see a real difference, especially in the framerate. I've heard that the 360 version has a much more stable framerate so you may want to bear that in mind if you own both platforms. The city is also lifeless which made the game feel less realistic. Even going back to PGR4, the cities were far more believable, rather than bleak and repetitive roads.

Overall, there are far superior racers out there and even though you can pick this up for very cheap, I still wouldn't recommend it.

Summary: Still can't compete with Most Wanted
