I bought this game at the same time I bought my PS3. I had heard great things about this game so I didn't hesitate to but. Sadly, I felt slightly disappointed with it. The game itself looks stunning in HD, especially the fire effects. The animation is also very good, with Ryu's ultra quick moves transitioning well. It is the actual gameplay that I had a problem with. You can tell that this is a port of an older game. The controls feel a bit archaic by today's standards and this is a game that does not forgive mistakes. The first thing to say about Ninja Gaiden Sigma for the PS3 is that it is, without doubt, the single hardest game I have ever played and my husband totally agrees with me. The story revolves around classic ninja action and a plot of intrigue and action. The sequences that keep the action moving are really interesting and help to immerse yourself in the role. The learning curce is just about right for the medium difficulty setting and the challenges seem to hot up at just the right time. a fantastic revival of the long lost ninja gaiden series. one of the greatest ninjas of all time being given a well deserved HD 3d makeover. tonnes of new weapons to be discovered and upgraded to powerful perfection, amazing new ninjutsu magic moves and ninja acrobatic ability made this game stand above all others on its release this game has it all, a great storyline, gruesome demonic bad guys and brutal ninja action. this game will keep you involved from beginning to end. you'll turn it on intending to just play out one chapter before rushing off to meet your friends or go to work etc. and before you know it you'll be 2 hours late for ...
