Advantages: Become a Pro Mode

Disadvantages: Online Play

Pro Evolution has returned and there has been many changes to gameplay, with key additions to tactics change according to situation, off-the-ball fluency AI recognizing strategies that works accumulating data on an ongoing basis wiht all league modes.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 has new air resistance calculations for the trajectory of the ball to bring more realism to the game. There are also new friction routines to affect ball movement in terms of ground conditions, backspin routines are calculated so that ball slows accordingly, and the bounce of the ball can be used more effectively.

The biggest feature in the game is the introduction of Become a Pro Mode. This allows players to take control of a player when he is justed started his career and your aim is to improve his skills and one day make him the worlds best. This new feature is possibly the best mode in the game as it is very iddictive trying to get your player to move from the reserves of the lower league teams to playing for your country.

A New Feature in the game was the licensed UEFA Champions League Mode that allows you to play as any team in the game to try to win the cup. This Feature is good because it has all the logos and the correct cup format but it should of been used in Master League Mode and not just a seperate mode. Master Mode itself has not changed much from the last game, it still has the same formats but it needs more content, Instead of having 4 leagues they should of had more.

The worst part of the game is the Online Play, even if you have a very fast internet connection you will still have games that are unplayable.

Summary: Good game but its weeknesses are its licensed content

I probably wouldn't have bothered listing the teams in that way, it just looks like padding.
