Advantages: Background Graphics, Arcade Gameplay
Disadvantages: Car Graphics, Over too quickly
Initially when playing this game I was disapointed how arcade like this game is but this was my own fault for not reading any reviews before I bought it. Once I accepted that this was not GT5 and an arcade racer I started to really get into it.
The idea is to build up a successful race team of your own, and to do this you start off driving for other teams that already exist until you have enough cash to get started. Once you have got a race team you progress unlocking more and more events, taking on an aditional team mate and culminating in a one of one race with your biggest rival to end the game once you have completed all the top rank events. The game is split into a seasons and if there was one thing I would critisise it would be the length of these seasons. They are very very short.
The gameplay itself isn't at all realistic. A slight tap from a rival and you spin wildly out of control and the cars don't drive like a simulator such as GT5 but once you've gotten over this you soon pick it up.
The graphics are generally ok although I wasn't impressed with the cars themselves. They don't look at all realistic and the proportions are all out but the background graphics are pretty good.
Generally, I enjoyed this game although I did complete it very quickly which was a disapointment but it's worth a play whilst nothing else is available and if you like arcade racers then this game is definately for you.
Summary: Worth a buy whilst nothing else is about
