Advantages: Great Storyline.

The thing that strikes me most when i think about resistance fall of man is that i can honestly say i'm not the biggest fan of the first person shooter.
Now taking that into consideration you may be surprised to find that i actually really enjoyed this game!.
You play the role of a soldier whom has become separated from his battalion in a post apocalyptic wartime great britain, where the enemy isn't your usual generic nazi / terrorist but actually alien invaders.
So ok a little far fetched it may be but think along the lines of medal of honour and sniping out aliens instead of germans then combine that with some kick ass alien weaponary you pick up to replace your tired old timer guns that ultimately help you to mow through the hoardes and swarms of different aliens that oppose you on the battlefield.
The concept was fresh to me and the storyline was quite solid, the action at parts is pretty fast and very furious as you make your way across the country to infiltrate the main alien base camp.
I don't want to say too much and spoil the story for you guys that haven't played it so i'll try not to go on about it any more.
The graphics were excellent and the gameplay was fluid and constant, with the occasional heartstopper as you realise the quiet break you were getting is disturbed by a massive swarm of crawlers and immediately snap to action!.

I liked this game so much that i actually played through it again on the hard level before passing it along to my brother whom loved it also (so much so infact that he has not as yet returned it).
The online play i can't comment on as i didn't have the internet at the time i played this title, but if it's half as good as the game itself it'll be brilliant.

I would have rated this game 5 but i'm docking off a point because i believe that it could have been a little longer.

All in all though an awesome game, and if unlike me you are a fan of the FPS then buy this because you will love it, If your not an FPS fan give it a go anyway, it might change your mind !.

Summary: A Great Title And The Only First Person Shooter Thats Ever Grabbed My Attention!. Buy It !.
