I have to admit, I didn't want to play the game. Every time I saw a commercial or ad for the game I thought that they were overselling the game and people will be expecting too much from it ; I was wrong.

Skyrim is a very deep and intricate game, not only is the character personalisation amazing, but the story development is great. One could spend hundreds of hours playing the game which is great seeing as how your paying about $50 for it. It is visually appealing * especial with hdmi cable* and has greatly orchestrated music playing in the background. This game is well worth buying, you can skip the rental on this game. Now the game is not perfect though, much like its predecessors a good 40 hours into the game and you are going to encounter lag. This is to be expected though, for it is one of the largest open world games out in market.

Character Creation-
When creating a character in a RPG game, one is expected to be able to customize it as they see fit. Skyrim really gives you the opportunity to create very distinct characters. You start off choosing a race, you have the typical human type races and others such as Orcs, Khajiits (feline race) and my personal favorite Dark Elfs just to name a few. Then you go to select a gender, and appearance, let me just tell you you can truly make your character appear as unique as you. You have the ability to tune and model physical appearances such as head, nose, chin, hell even skill tones. When your done with spending 2 hours of game play making your character, (you can skip this by picking default characters.) your thrown in a massive world that moves and develops on its own.

Hours upon hours of game play-
The main quest is an estimated 30 hours probably 40, but dont let that stop you. Side Quests! Yes and allot of them more than 100 hours of side quests are in this game. Let us not forget a world to discover, dungeons to explore, relationships to build. You can easily spend well over 150 hours playing through it once, why not replay it as a different character? Possibilities seem endless.

This game truly left me impressed, it may not be the best game in the world but defiantly up there.
