The Golden Compass (PS3) ... as she travels through the frozen wastes of the North in an attempt to rescue a friend kidnapped by a mysterious organization known as The Gobblers. Travelling with her are an armored polar bear and her pet demon Pantalaimon (Pan). This can be good if you con't remember what to press but can get very annoying. The presentation is rubbish and even the good storyline from the movie cannot rescue this game. Alright, almost all movie tie ins are pretty rubbish even if the movie is a hit. Some of them can be good, such as James Bond: Nightfire but this doesn't deliver. In the game, you will play as Lyra trying to save your friend who has been kidnapped, on a trip that takes you around the world. It is just rubbish with boring gameplay and graphics from the last generation of video game consoles. The game suffers from a bad framerate.
