I never played the original Rainbox Six Vegas, but just picked this one up for £15 from the trade in section. At first I wasn't too impressed by this game, the graphics were good, but nothing like those seen in games like Farcry 2 and Killzone. The Gameplay was OK, but a little repeatitive and I got bored quite soon, and I didn't like the fact that some items in the environment couldn't be damaged - for example, if you unload your gun onto a car, nothing happens, it just sits there, and some windows etc are the same. In this day and age of gaming, I think the environent should respond to your actions and not just the enemies! This said, I have now found ... Read the complete review

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2 is the sequel to the popular Rainbow Six Vegas by Ubisoft. Rainbow Six Vegas was a great success for Ubisoft being an early PS3 title and popular title on other formats. They received great credit for a fantastic online mode which lead to high expectations regarding Rainbow Six Vegas 2. As with the prequel, the unique cover system of being able to see when you are behind cover in in effect for this game with the addition of sprinting. In my opinion the sprinting devalues the tactical and banter online but it makes story mode a lot more enjoyable and unlike the previous game I finished the story this time round. Most of the ... After reading the other reviews on this game i was slightly offset seeing as i thought the game was rather impressive. The story game consists of you leading a small team, where you play as yourself in a first person shooter whilst at the same time are able to control the way in which your other two team members act like. For example you can command them to nade certain areas, wander with open fire or only return fire, set enemy priorities or make a stealthy entry to a new room or level sector. The weapons which are available are not in few. Like many other first person shooter games you are able to carry two weapons as well as a pistol. All of these weapons ... Read the complete review

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2 was a little disappointing for me. I enjoyed the first one, both online and offline, but the problem with this sequel is that it is too similar. The graphics have barely been improved, the missions are the same but with less casinos, which was the best part of the first one and there were some inital problems with the multiplayer. Don't get me wrong, it's still fun to play though, especially in co-op mode but it just seems that there wasn't much done to improve the series. The same routine of "set targets, clear room, move to next" can get tedious and it would have been nice to see some variety. There is a ... Read the complete review

I brought this game after loving the first one, but after playing for awhile, I have to say this is more of the same and nothing has been improved. The game had lots of hype and was considered to be a COD 4 destroyer. However, this game doesn't bring the goods and is very boring. The story mode isn't very good and doesn't keep you hooked. It gets boring after awhile but is ok in co-op mode if with a mate. The graphics are very good but the soundtrack is poor. The game also suffers from a bad framerate and frezzes at times. The online isn't ver good with logs of lag which makes it hard to play. Also, I got my scored deleted after ... Read the complete review
