I had no interest for a game of the Euro 2008, simply cause as a country, we failed miserably to reach the tournament. I couldn't have cared less if it was on offer, i didn't want it. Then, one thursday morning i woke up and went on my PS3 and checked the PS store, which has all new downloadable content (added every Thursday) and stumbled across a demo for this. I download the majority of demos and i'm a big fan of football games so i just downloaded this one as it was free. Little did i know it were to be the best demo i have played. It was fantastic. Upon starting up the game you are met with great graphics and a good lay-out. The gameplay that i was expecting to be so similar to the boring, same old same old fifa gameplay was completly different. It wasn't so scripted and you could actually win by being skillful, not just intercepting a keepers pass or a fault from the opposition. I bought this game on release day and was not dissapointed as the Captain Your Country game mode is brilliant and England are on it so I managed to become Englands captain. All round a great game and i'm hopeful Fifa 09 will lead on from this.
