Advantages: realistic rendered graphics, large roster

Disadvantages: limited fighting style, career and create a fighter options

UFC Undisputed is the 1st UFC game that actually delivers what it says, it may not be perfect but it is playable and fun, unlike its past offerings. It is based on the UFC promotion of Mixed Martial Arts, a sport that is definatly a threat to professional wrestling.

I picked this game up from gamestation about a week ago and I have been hooked on since. The game is easy to pick up and play, have a bash against the computer or your friends, but to play the game properly then you have to master the games in depth controls which is not easy.

The game boasts a massive roster of 80 fighters from lightweight to heavyweight classes including Brock Lesner, Rashad Evans and Chuck Liddel. The character body model looks very realistic with superb detail from facial expressions all the way to cuts, blood and sweat. The animation is done very well apart from a few clipping issues but that is not a problem since you will not notice it if your into the game.

There are a few modes to choose from:

Exhibition, this is where you can play against the computer or friend pick a fighter and try to win the fight, it can be very fun and with so many fighters to choose from you will not get bored for quite a while.

Career, this mode is a single player mode where you make your own fighter and take him through the UFC from a newcomer to world champion. You get to train your fighter, learn new skills and take part in matches. Although it is good that you can use your own fighter, you can not play with existing real life fighters which is a bit of a shame.

Tutotial, Here you can learn how to get in grips of the game and improve your skills and learn advance controls to make yourself into a better fighter.

Classic fights, You get to participate in fights that have already happen and try to recreate the bouts how it happend.

Create A fighter, Here you can make your own fighter to use in exhibition or career, but unlike THQ's Smackdown vs Raw series this option is very limited as you only have a certian amount of options to make your fighter such as limited number of faces, hairstyles and tattoos.

Online, You can fight online against other players from around the world and be on your way to be the best, but beware of cheaters that will disconnect middle of the match.

The controls are very easy to get used to after a few fights with advance techniques can be a bit of a struggle. The PS3 pad is perfect and most people should have no problems with it.

This game is perfect for all UFC fans out there and those who are new to the sport. This game is a blast to play and is very fun which should keep most busy for a while, slight disapointment is that there are only 6 fighting styles in the game, which there are more in real life. so apart from the fighting style and limited career/create a fighter mode this game is well worth the money.

Summary: well rounded game that deserves to be in anyones game collection
