Advantages: Loads of moves, loads of characters, downlaodable content

Disadvantages: sometimes gameplay becomes a bit samey

I first got hooked on this game via the online downloadable demo within a few fights i realised I had to buy this.

The character representation and animation was superb with everything to cuts and bruises down to the sweat on their backs being perfectly rendered.

I am not a big UFC fan but the playability and sometimes random nature of this game makes it quite a pick up and play experience, getting in a lucky punch and knocking out someone who has a lot more experience playing this game is very satisfying.

Before you begin to think this game represents a good quality button masher I should make you aware of the sheer variety of combos and move available to your fighter.

Each fighter has varying styles and moves and to learn them all would take a good couple of months. That coupled with excellent online play and a create a boxer section make this game a good solid contender.

The controls feel instinctive and the sheer number of moves available make this a better buy than its competitiors such as def jam or fight night..

Summary: Great games learn the moves to get the most out of it....
