Uncharted 2, among thieves is a Playstation 3 Game. You wake up on a dangling train, alone as Nathan Drake, as a treasure hunter, battling a rival treasure hunter and psychopathic war criminal to find the treasure of Marco Polo.

The game looks awesome, the writing is funny and thorough, the acting is excellent during the interactive sections and doesn't annoy you while you wait for the next section of the game.

The humour does shine through and Drake is a character you will enjoy playing, funny, cool, charismatic and a real fighter. His relationship with his cohort Chloe develops during the game and it is actually better than a lot of films in terms of writing and acting.

The game really comes into its own with its AI based storyline, punch the right people and the game heads in a different direction, meaning no two experiences are exactly the same.

Shooting is realistic with head shots seeming to be difficult but attainable, fighting is not gratuitous but integral and the whole thing takes place at such a pace you pick controls up in no time at all.

The control system is intuitive and becomes seccond nature within minutes, making the game the primary point.

Controls are excellent and realistic, the game is busy, action packed but requires some real thought too. The baddies get cleverer the more the game goes on as your skills become clear to them. Graphically it is superb, the characters look great even at breakneck speed. This game has a superb multi player option and the whole thing matches a great story with wonderful action.

Awesome visuals, excellent add ons and a humour and character driven plot missing in many games.

For me the game is excellent on so many levels, it allows you to lose yourself in it, a ten minute go on the game becomes a two hour session, the fighting and shooting are great fun but realistic and the games goals and aims are clear but become progressively harder as you progress.

This I have to say is possibly the best game i've ever played on the PS3, the game is awesome, the interactive sequences incredible and the graphics, sound and playability are exceptional.

I am surprised this didn't win more awards at the Gaming awards this week, but overall I'd say this is one of the best games I've ever played.
It is available from Game for £39.99 or you could rent from Lovefilm for less, although you may want to buy it just to keep on playing it.
