The team at Naughty Dog had a lot to live up to with the release of Uncharted with similar games like the Tomb Raider franchise already dominating the market. Uncharted brings tomb robbery bang up to date with witty dialouge, motion captured gameplay and a quality line up of actors including the likes of Andy Serkis. The story follows Nathan Drake, a fortune hunter out for lost treasures with some twists and turns thrown in along the way.
For someone who has never really been into action games I found Uncharted had a pick up and play value that also made it hard to put down. The pace is unrelenting and its difficult to find fault with a game that is one of the best loved exclusive titles on the PS3. I suppose if I had to find fault it would be with the enemy AI where in some cases in can be impossible to be stealth, no matter how sneaky you are. The gun fights make it more than worth it with a variety of weapons at Nate's disposal.
Drake in his stylish Topman attire leaves Lara Croft looking more than a little tired and outdated. If you are looking for a top quality action game that you'll play again and again, buy Uncharted!
