Advantages: Great Graphics

Disadvantages: Overcomplicated Controls.

I got this game free with my console and to be honest i'm glad i didn't pay for it.
I turned on my shiny new PS3 and put in virtua fighter 5 to be greeted by the familiar SEGA logo in glorious high definition and thought WHOOOOAAAA THIS IS AWESOME!.
Follow that through to the mesmerisingly good intro video to the game and it's arcade style menu layout and i'm thinking i'm in heaven here.
Then i played it.
This has to be by far the worst fighting game i have ever played, the combo's are impossible to perform because the controls are set so sensitive that even a millisecond delay in your button push throws it out and you have to start again, so basically you find yourself repeating the same punch and kick knock out the opponent technique that everyone loathes, to us gamers more lovingly known as BUTTON BASHING.
Graphically and visually i can't fault the title however as it does look beautiful and it flows smoothly, the sound is decent too, but i can't help but feel that sega are slowly losing their edge as the best arcade game designers.
I really can't comment more on this title, if you are a fan of the series then by all means you'll probably love this, but if you like to master character moves then you'd be as well go and learn kung fu or karate in a dojo because you'll be a black belt in reality before you've mastered this!.

Summary: A Dissapointing Effort From Sega, Wait For The Next Installment Of Tekken.

Enjoyed reading this - think the VF franchise is a bit tired now. Was good back in the 90's but seems a bit obsolete now.
