Advantages: Good range of players to choose from

Disadvantages: Can take a long while moving up the ranks

Tennis fans will obviously enjoy this game and can take on the role of their favourite players such as Rafael Nadal, Andy Murray and Maria Sharapova, and play tennis at various venues around the world. If you prefer, you can design your own player and work your way up the world rankings, starting on the practice courts with Tiger Tim and hopefully finishing as world number 1.

There are also a number of mini games you can play for fun, or to kill time during your world tour (which can sometimes be a bit tedious).

Having never played any of the previous Virtua Tennis games, I cannot compare this to it's predecessors; Virtua Tennis 2009 is a good enough game however if you're on the lookout for a better tennis game, go for the far superior Top Spin 3 also on the PS3; faster gameplay, better varitey of shots, and a little more challenging.

Summary: Generally good but there are better tennis games out there.
