Advantages: Fine game play, create a move

Disadvantages: Only a few superstars you can use in story mode

Lucky for me I got this game for 9.99 on offer from Shopto net a few months back. The 2009 game came with some major updates including for the first time ever the new create your own move! Other than this other new modes including a new story mode and superstar specific story mode in the game to! The removal of the GM Mode in the game was not a happy one and I would like to see that back in the game.

The first thing I can say I love about this game is the quality of the graphics. Wrestlers have their full entrances and also look very real in the game to. Randy Orton for me is the most realistic looking one and even pulls of some of his mean expressions.

Not every single move in the game has been re animated but you can do that your self now. Sick of seeing John Cena pull of the FU in the same manner? With the new create a move you can now add a slap or a kick before he pulls the move off making it much better for new fresh game play for your self.

I was a little upset with the story mode as you could only use certain wrestlers! They had a weird story mode for John Cena and his battle at the end was against MVP. They could have certainly improved the story mode and will do hopefully for the next game that comes around.

The best thing about the game is the awesome game play in the game. The animations are fantastic and you can now pull of a lot of moves with out the reversal issue that happened in the 2008 edition of the game.Smackdown vs Raw 2009 has got a lot of successful points about if you ask me top wrestling game!
