Don't expect to do any racing!! (007 Racing (PS))

Advantages: Neat cars, weapons. Challenging

Disadvantages: No actual racing, Worst Bond game yet

Let me start by saying that I love every previous bond game available on the market. I therefore had no concerns when I went to purchase this game. After all, racing games are my favorite, and I love Bond games almost as much. Unfortunately this game neither has the quality of previous Bond games, you don't really do any racing in it either.

The game is much more similar to Twisted Metal. 007 Racing is a car destruction game. Each level you drive around in very small, boring levels, blowing up walls and computers and other rather uninteresting objects. At know point have I discovered a spot in which you race against another car.

The two player section of the game is just as undesirable. You drive around in a small level trying to blow up your opponent. The weapons that can be outfitted on your car include smoke screen, oil slick, rockets, mines and lasers. The one thing that I did like about this game is the toughness. Don't expect to conquer this game in a few days. It is challenging enough to keep me entertained, but I can still advance through levels quickly enough to not get frustrated.

If you like games similar to twisted metal, this game is for you. If you like Bond adventure games, or like to actually race in games such as GranTurismo, don't expect this game to compare to either of them. The cars are cool, the weapons are allright, but overall 007 Racing definitely leaves something to be desired.
