haze22333 The Curse of Monkey Island (PS): ... is traditional with the Monkey Island games, this is quite a light-weight adventure game with a huge amount of humour. the game has 6 chapters. the first chapter is a small introductory one, and doesn t take long to get through. other chapters take much more effort to solve. there are two chapters that do have some fairly difficult puzzles get your head around. this game has two modes, normal and mega-monkey mode....

scream4bruce Tenchu Stealth Assassins (PS)
... technical troublings of Tenchu did not go unnoticed to its makers thus it was tweaked so that its release outside of Japan - to be titled, Tenchu: Stealth Assassins - would be worth the wait. Tenchu took stealth gaming to new heights, literally - with the grappling hook you can reach for those rooftops. But beware falling into the pits of frustration. To avoid detection from the enemies, there s a stealth button for sneaking about, and along with the gift of the second sight - or is that the third-person view (ha!), a sixth sense in the shape of the Ki meter allows players to know the proximity of a presence as well as their awareness. Whilst the cut-scenes canno...

randomreviews Legend of Mana, The (PS)
... Legend of Mana, you embark on a quest in the enchanted world of Fa Diel. Its an action-RPG, but unlike typical games, this doesn t follow a specific storyline. In fact, events in the game are triggered by various interactions you make or entering certain areas at a specific time. The game s art and scenery seems like something you d see in a fairy tale. The Wikipedia entry for Legend of Mana explains the circumstances where the game begins, "The Mana Tree, the giver of mana and life for the world, burned down nine centuries prior to the events of the game. A war erupted between faeries, human, and others seeking the scarce power of mana that was left. When the w...

scream4bruce Rugrats Studio Tour (PS)
... the game s no real step forward from Rugrats - Search For Reptar , so it s not great to look at, and the studio sets as hub to the mini-games seem a step backwards - plenty of props but nothing really to play with (not even just toys for throwing). As for the audio, some of the music is the same old, and whilst the baby talk (malapropisms - check!) is still funny, the commentary still isn t. The need for the target-cursor interface for the opening of the door with the keys was not necessary and is an insult to the intelligence of any gamer. Of the mini-games, the golfing has taken a fall from being favourite. Having six-for-par holes might not seem OTT for ...
