Advantages: Gameplay is amazing
Disadvantages: Mediocre grahics
3D lemmings if you hadn’t already guess is the update to the massive classic that was lemmings. This was a game released about 10 years ago that worked on the principle that lemmings followed each other, and would even follow others to their death. ***AIM OF THE GAME*** The aim of the game is to guide the lemmings as they fall out of a trap in the roof (bit weird hey) and direct them to the exit. There may be walls, traps, hole anything that may kill the lemmings in the way, but its all down to how many you can get to the exit of each level. Each level of the game gets harder and more interesting/complex. The aim, obviously is to complete the game, what game isn’t. ***GRAPHICS*** The graphics of the game, are to be fair not bad, though looking a little simple, there about the standard the PS1 could handle. Its not totally 3D is more design 3D in a 2D world. ***SOUND*** Sound effects of the game are not bad, simplistic joyful music to match the original. It’s a little cutesy, and this sort of music will be more suited to women and children. ***PRICE*** Price of the game at launch a yeah and a half ago would have been around £24.99. I wouldn’t be surprised if you could now pick up this game in the budget area for around 9.99. ***SUMMARY*** Its not a bad game but hardly revolutionary, to tell you the truth the original couldn’t be improved on it was that good. Get it if it’s on budget, I will give you your money’s worth, if its more than that, my advice would be not to bother…. ***JAMESPUGH***

- 15/06/02 i was the proud owner of the sega master system vers! and i adored it. point is, this shouldn't have been touched. you forgot to mention the worst aspect of this game which is the poor control and camera rotation, makes and irritating game unbearable! |

- 28/04/02 I had all the original lemmings games, and despite being totally awful at them all, I'm really disappointed that they don't work on my computer now! |
