D (PS) ... from life saver to mass murderer - what has driven Richter Harris, doctor and director of a hospital, and a decent dude, to do such dreadful deeds? His daughter Laura drives down to the Los Angeles hosptial to find out... I ve seen D dubbed as a survival horror. But the game fails for frights - this coming from someone whom scares easy. And it s a game where you cannot die, despite the spiked booby traps, a battle with a suit of armour, and a boulder dash down a set of stairs - it being game over should the two hour time limit run out. D demands you set aside an hour or two to play as there s no pause function or save feature. D doesn t do depth, and whatever ... Kula World (PS) ... I still don t have a proper, hard copy of this game! I have downloaded it on PS3 format as I still really don t want to pay full price for it! On ebay the cheapest I ve found it (Buy it Now) is £19.99 and the cheapest I ve seen on Amazon is £34.99. If you re interested the most expensive was on Amazon for £55.00 and if you weren t interested then unlucky! Now you know anyway! So what s it all about? Kula World is an infuriatingly simple game of bounce the ball and exit the level before time runs out. Devil Dice (PS) ... spot and lightning strikes signify new dice, and the devils are animated so that they can pull off poses. Of the single-player modes, Endless can be seen as a means of practice, but you ll really need to know your dice as well as simply go for chaining sixes, to beat the hi-score in Time Limited (which I did after many attempts). Puzzle is of purpose and can help - sink the dice in only so many movements of the die. Because of the properties of the dice, there is scope to some puzzles as they can be accomplished in fewer moves.
