Wow, lookie here. Here's another one of those movie-based games, that tempt little kiddies to shove their money out of their pockets, and into the developers' pockets. Usually, movie-based games tend to be total flops (like Space Jam the playstation game). They have to be released soon after the movie, the time when the movie is a fad. A Bug's Life, proved me wrong though. Instead of being a total flop, A Bug's Life turned out to be a pretty decent game. Gameplay & Levels There are 15 levels in A Bug's Life. In each level, you can only play one character: Flik. Most of the levels make you find stuff...like the first level, where you ... Read the complete review

I bought A Bug's Life for the PS1 a few years back now because it was a 'Platinum' game so only cost around £10. It looks like a cute and fun game that doesn't require much thought or stressing so it seemed perfect for a lazy day. I was disappointed to say the least. A Bug's Life is an arcade game produced by Disney Pixar based on the characters from the film. The game itself is 3D and has 15 levels (if you can make it past the first 2 that is). On each level you go on a journey as Flik, collecting seed tokens and having berry attacks. You are given free reign to explore the level and discover the exciting little tokens and activities that lie within the area. ... Read the complete review

This game is taken from the movie A Bug’s Life. When I got the game I hadn’t seen the film so the little phrases were new to me and I found them quite amusing. In the game you play Flik who has to save the Ant colony from the Grasshoppers and you have to find tough bugs to help defend the Ant colony. There are 16 levels to this game all of which are all so different. In between each level you get a clip of the movie, which is cool. It has phrases also from the movie. It’s a 1player game only. Your tough bugs are Slim, Heimlich, Francis, Rosie, Dim, Gypsy, Manny and Tuck & Roll. Your enemies are Grasshopper, ... Read the complete review

One For the Kid's . . . I recently read an article in which the author was up in arms because the ants in Disney's latest animated movie, A Bug's Life, had only four legs. According to the article, the movie is trying to warp young children's minds by misrepresenting the six-legged insects. Yeah . . . the fact that these ants are talking, inventing tools, forming girl scout troops, and hiring mercenary flea circus performers to fight off the evil grasshoppers fits right in with the everyday life of an ant. But Disney went too far when they stripped these poor, unaware insects of two legs. In all seriousness, I saw the movie with my six year-old ... Read the complete review
