... Bandicoot is one of the staple game series of the playstation and this is one of the two best games in that series. In this crash bandicoot game you control Crash who rather unsurprisingly is a bandicoot. Similar to sonic in a sense, you collect what are called wumpa fruit (equivalent to rings) and every 100 of these gives you another life. However this game is different to sonic in that it is a lot more flexible. It is 3d (though very linear), and mostly levels will require that you move forwards in order to progress. ... is a fairly simple game, with relatively poor graphics. Despite what you may be able to see on the cover of the game, it is set up in the format of a bird s eye view of your frog. There are several different scenarios, including: dodging traffic, escaping bees and jumping on logs and turtles. There are several other features that include needing to catch flags and eat bugs as well. To be honest it was a mediocre game even when it was new. So by now, it is in my opinion outdated, with poor quality graphics. ... this could be conceivably labelled as a worms rip off, this game has every right to take all the plaudits it gets. Both single player and multiplayer game modes come close to perfection and the replay ability is immense. Add to this, the aspects which affect both aspects of the game and Hogs of War becomes a very serious contender for the best playstation game ever. The aspects shared by both the single player and multiplayer are graphics, gameplay and depth.
