Alundra (PS):
... As a life long fan of Climax s Landstalker, I was intrigued when a team of people broke away from Climax to form Matrix Entertainment. The product that came shortly after was a game known as Alundra. Very remeniscent of Landstalker, mixed with a modern-day story telling motion of a "Dreamwalker" appropriately named "Alundra", the game takes you on a journey into an immersive wo... Grandia (PS) ... Grandia is arguebly one of the most definitive RPG games to ever be released on the epic Sony Playstation console. Possessing an aura of uniqueness, combined with a beautifullly written story and truly glorious graphics and musical score, it should come as no surprise that Grandia stands as one of my personal all-time favorite RPG Games. Grandia is the first game in the series and is a traditional role-playing game which was originally developed for the Sega Saturn in 1997, yet was later remade for the Sony Playstation in early 2000. Since it first emerged on the Playstation, it has earned much acclaim and fame as being one of the greatest RPG experie... Read the full review: Grandia - Grand Indeed. by WayneKWilkins |

The Last Express (PS) ... ve been waiting for the opportunity to play this game for some time. Considered one of the biggest flops in gaming history, the Last Express was developed over a process of five years with a (then) whopping $6,000,000 budget. Unfortunately, the game s 1997 release coincided with the demise of publisher Broderbund, and it sunk without a trace. It s a shame really because it s one of the most originally conceived and cleverly constructed games I ve ever played. Nominally, it s a point n click graphic adventure, but the Last Express largely eschews the "find an object, use it on another object" tradition of the classic Sierra or LucasArts adventure games. Inste... Read the full review: One of the best, most overlooked games of all time. by FrankensteinsCat |

Klonoa (PS) ... is a game which offers, some very nice Sonic the Hedgehog style platform gaming in terms of looks, adventure and side-scrolling. Instead of the speed that Sonic games offer, Klonoa the big long floppy eared kitty with a cutesy looking orb, is a lot slower that the blue spikey alternative, they team up together to go through dazzling beautiful looking levels, picking up ball shaped enemies and firing them at other enemies, eggs for power-ups and obstacles that obstruct their path.In some levels you go through quite a maze, making you think where you have to go to collect keys to move onto other areas. The game offers a story which is rather boring, but as with a lot ...
