I enjoyed playing Age of Empires and Age of Empires 2. So when Microsoft and Ensemble Studios decided to release the mighty Age of Mythology we flocked (well, went) to their website to see what it was all about. For those not familiar with the "Age Of" band of games, they are real-time strategy, where you up your civilization, take your lead characters on quests and fight the enemy to attain your objectives. The new awaited game from ensemble studios and Microsoft. In this new gripping game of age of Mythology you can pick one of the nine civilisations. The civilizations are named after the gods of each contry. Like Say some civs are called Poseidon, zeus for Greek and Thor for Norse and Ra for egyptian. In this game you have to challenge the mythological gods. Not only can you have mythological creatures and heroes but the gods of your civilisation are allowed to help you by giving you god powers. As Christmas is fast approaching, it brings back memories of last christmas when i was given a copy of AOM. At first glance many people may think ' oh its a kids game, what with all the mythical units and bright colours'. From some peoples point of view, yes it may be a kids game, but i know plenty of adults who play it. The game is great for all ages, it is very addictive, easy to play and has great graphics.
