A few years ago ‘Ages of Empire’ the first instalment in the very successful ‘Ages of Empire’ series started a trend for real time strategy/combat games that seemed to merge the best attributes of other games like ‘Civilization’ and ‘Warcraft’ and aim at a complexity and scope of play somewhere in the middle of the two. ‘Age of Mythology is a further addition to this series but in addition to controlling and developing the races you are also given the opportunity to wield godly powers. As Christmas is fast approaching, it brings back memories of last christmas when i was given a copy of AOM. At first glance many people may think ' oh its a kids game, what with all the mythical units and bright colours'. From some peoples point of view, yes it may be a kids game, but i know plenty of adults who play it. The game is great for all ages, it is very addictive, easy to play and has great graphics. If you are a fan of age of empires, then you will enjoy this, the new myth units add an enjoyable twist to the game. It keeps the same ideas of the original age of empries, starting with a few villagers and building your way up to a ... Read the complete review
