Can you watch really scary stuff on telly without covering your eyes? Are you the kind of person who loves finding a huge spider in the bathtub, and you are dieing to go on a really scary spooky adventure? If so then you will love alien resurrection. It is by far the most spine-chilling game on the playstation, and with lots of shooting and puzzle solving, one of the best to. Blasting aliens has never been so much fun. Most of you will probably heard of the series of blockbusting alien films, well this is a game of the latest alien-destroying flick. With loads of action, amazing graphics and that all-important spooky atmosphere, you really get into the game ... Read the complete review

At first this game appealed to me, as I loved the alien moves. I had played the first alien themed game on the Playstation but it turned into a constant line of aliens walking into a constant hail of my bullets, not much of a game at all. On the outside this game looked very good and i had heard some praise of it, but the game is very different. It starts out going straight into the game play which just makes it feel rushed and after about 1/2 an hour of wandering about trying to figure out the difficult control system I came across marines, i was unaware they were against me, I promptly died and started again with this new knowledge. More problems, I ... Read the complete review

Now that the 4th Alein Movie was released it only made sense for the PSX to capitalise on that and bring out a game based on that. Much like the first game this is a First Person Shooter but as well as just blasting your way through space monsters there's also a bit of puzzle solving along the way to keep your mind ticking over in between blowing up the bad guys. Graphics - These were an improvment over the last game, much more colourful and the Aliens themselves are more detailed than before, some ... Read the complete review

What a pity they couldn't have used the excellent control system from the Medal of Honour series for this game. I've seen a couple of reviews from people who have complained that this game is tough to control. I'm about 6 hours into it now and I've just got to the stage where I'm moving around without having to think about what I'm doing. It's not impossible (as some would have you believe), but you need to develop quite a light touch on the sticks. If you can persevere this long, you'll reap the rewards.... I loved Medal, but I thought it was too easy (exception - Panzerknacker level on MOH Underground - more of this ... Read the complete review
