The Alien movies were highly acclaimed as great thrillers. The Playstation emulated the movies in the mid 90's with the pretty good effort that was Alien Trilogy. Now that the 4th Alein Movie was released it only made sense for the PSX to capitalise on that and bring out a game based on that. Much like the first game this is a First Person Shooter but as well as just blasting your way through space monsters there's also a bit of puzzle solving along the way to keep your mind ticking over in between blowing up the bad guys.

Graphics - These were an improvment over the last game, much more colourful and the Aliens themselves are more detailed than before, some horrible goo that comes out of some of the things you shoot though may creep you out.

Gameplay - Stanrd FPS stuff as you walk around with the options to crouch and jump and it's easy enough to shoot and throw bombs too. The D-pad is responsive enough and it flows quite well.

Sounds- Creepy, with some eerie background music and the theme from the movie, you'l be freaked a little by the horrible tones.

Overall - A good shooter, sure it's maybe not in the league of Goldeneye or Perfect Dark but it's a very fun game that fans of the movie will really enjoy. Thumbs up.
